Outsystems Software Engineer

Experienced Professional

We are in need of experienced Outsystems Software Engineers who will interact with different groups and business areas to understand business requirements, provide clients with pertinent feedback relative to the pros/cons of the development course, and develop mobile and web applications within the OutSystems platform.

Main duties and responsibilities:

    ● Develop both Mobile and Web applications using the Outsystems Platform
    ● Create an exciting, engaging, and interactive online experience
    ● Brainstorm and mock-up design ideas with a cross-functional team
    ● Present ideas and functionalities to the internal team or to clients with the description of the idea meant to be communicated
    ● Make necessary changes in line with Stratpoint’s demand and the project objectives
    ● Flexible to make changes as required or individual project objectives
    ● Maintain best practices in development through both Project Architecture and Data and Process Modeling
    ● Cooperate with the QE (Quality Engineering) team with their test efforts as well as potentially generating own automated test cases
    ● Complete projects successfully, independently, and with a team
    ● Prepare documentation and distribution of artifacts for deployment and release, as well as paperwork related to project details (e.g. work plans and deployment schedules)
    ● Estimate project timelines

Qualifications:

    ● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/IT/Computing or equivalent
    ● Experience in Agile methodology
    ● Knowledgeable in Rapid Application Development(RAD) best practices and implementation
    ● Knowledgeable in best practices for web application security
    ● Proficient in web-based languages (JavaScript, JQuery, CSS, HTML)
    ● Proficient in various Database Technologies
    ● Proficient in .Net Framework
    ● Proficient in web services (REST and SOAP)
    ● Proficiency in OutSystems Service Studio & Integration Studio
    ● Strong technical aptitude to learn new software and hardware
